  • Steam Summer Sale 2026: Steam Summer Sale 2026 is here, and this collection has one filter: demos I already reviewed that have now launched as full games and are on sale. Every pick earned a Play verdict from me at the demo stage, so I have already put real time into the slice and know it works. Starting with REPLACED, Outbound, and Dead as Disco, more games will be added as I find them across the sale window. Full Demo reviews are on the site if you want the session detail before you spend money.
  • Steam Next Fest June 2026: Thousands of games are expected during Steam Next Fest June 2026, 15–22 June. This collection gathers the Steam demos I have already reviewed that are entering the fest and earned a Play verdict. Full write-ups are linked below after real play sessions. Junkyard Stories: Rebirth, Endless Rails, and Field of Heroes are in so far. More get added as I work through the lineup during fest week.
  • Steam Bullet Fest 2026: Steam Bullet Fest spotlights bullet hells, horde survivors, and shooters built around density on screen. These are Steam demos I have reviewed on TodayWeGame and that are part of the fest lineup. All five below are Play calls: Ignitement, Relic Abyss, NO ENTRY: OUR BURROW, Oh! Robot: Legendary Mechanic, and Wanderburg. Each link is a full write-up with a Play, Maybe, or Skip verdict after real playtime.
  • Best of May 2026: Five demos from May. A Tetris-not-Tetris co-op chaos game, a burrow defense roguelite with nuclear egg potential, a wool-knitted fish-eat-fish arcade chomper, a pirate crew management roguelite with mid-battle multitasking, and a bar management game where you're a gorilla hunting humans in disguise. Different games, solid month.
  • Steam Ocean Fest 2026: Steam Ocean Fest is running until May 25th and there are a lot of ocean-themed demos to get through. I played them. These three stood out. Two Plays and a Maybe, all worth your time before the fest ends.
  • Steam Deck Builders Fest 2026: Deck builders can be a hard sell. The learning curve on a new one can be tough, and there are a lot of them out there. These six are worth the time though, and they each go down a slightly different route.
  • Best Game Demos April 2026: April was a good month for demos. I played through more than I expected to and these five stood out. Different genres, different styles, all worth downloading.
  • Steam Medieval Fest 2026: Steam Medieval Fest runs until April 27th and I played every demo worth your time so you don't have to. Three made the cut. A Viking tower defence roguelite, a city builder on wheels, and a goblin jester stamping decrees while trying not to lose his entire population to bandits. All free. All worth an hour of your time before the fest ends.
  • Steam Tower Defense Fest 2026: Steam Tower Defense Fest runs until March 16th and throws a lot of demos at you. I played three of them. One has two battlefields running simultaneously, one is a mobile port that somehow still works, and one looks like someone spilled Skittles on a fantasy battlefield. Here's what's worth your time.
  • Best Game Demos March 2026: March was a good month for demos. I played more than I expected to, found more Plays than usual, and still had to cut the list down to keep it manageable. These five are the ones I kept thinking about after I put them down. Different genres, different styles, but all worth your time. Free to try on Steam, all of them.
  • Best game demos February 2026: The best game demos released in February 2026, tested and rated. These are the ones that earned a Play verdict and are worth your time.
  • Steam Next Fest 2026: Steam Next Fest throws hundreds of demos at you at once. I played them so you don't have to. Here's every demo I reviewed from the fest — rated Play, Maybe, or Skip.
